Grey Gardens Inspired
Likely my very first inspiration post on this blog should have been my favourite movie, Grey Gardens. A classic documentary, it follows two very eccentric women living in a crumbling mansion in The Hamptons. Distant relatives of Jacquline Kennedy Onassis, Big and Little Edie live in a world all their own, mostly untouched by reality and the outside world.
If you haven't already seen it, I highly recommend it and the HBO movie starring Jessica Lange and Drew Barrymore.

Camo Inspired
Camo is no longer exclusive to hillbillies and hunting enthusiasts - like most things the fashion crowd adopts, it has made camouflage all its own.
Pictured above (street style pics I stole from google image search) are at least four examples of how this pattern can be worn. As with most trends, it's easiest to start with accessories - like the clutch above - but my favourite look is the jacket on the left, prettied up with a belt a several well chosen and well placed brooches.
I love the challenge of incorporating an non-traditional fashion fabric and making it my own. There are lotsa ways to wear this print - just search your favourite blogs and find something to inspire your next look!

Street Style Sunday
Camo and cherry red? Brills.

Dunno why I love this but I do.

I'm not exactly sure what's happening here but I am sure I like it. Look at those grid panties!

A fairly simple look to execute but the colour block in the bag really builds on and emphasizes the colour block in the rest of her outfit. Nicely done, miss!
